Project CARS

Project CARS

Project CARS is the Ultimate Driver Journey, you get to create a driver, choose your starting point and then aim for glory; climb the motorsport ranks quickly to claim the ultimate prize, dominate one particular motorsport defiantly against all challengers, or become a multi-discipline master and prove you can compete in all forms of racing.

You’ll be on your way to the Hall of Racing Fame alongside your heroes.  I would *HIGHLY* recommend playing this game with a steering wheel and pedals. It brings the immersion to a whole new level.

Project CARS with the PS4 has the best graphics, the audio is outstanding and amazing driving mechanics. The weather is great, especially how you can customize it so well. There are plenty of tracks to choose from and plenty of cars choose from. The cars can have their tire pressure altered at each corner, brake balance and pressure, roll bar stiffness, suspension height and damping, and much more. The cars also can't be painted custom colors.

The graphics are spectacular, a night race in a thunderstorm on a remote poorly lit track is particularly breathtaking, and watching the sunrise near the end of a 24 hour Le Mans run is equally remarkable.

I recommend starting with just a few cars settings while you figure out which "set" of FFB settings you like most.

The Crew

THE CREW

The Crew is a racing arcade game, suitable for teens. If you have a friend who likes to play racing arcade games this is the game for you. You really do need internet connection to play this game. There is so much exploration to be done.

Graphics:7/10 for Console capability

They are a little dis appointing. This is due to them using CGI for their ads. So take that into consideration. It is not as good as some other racing games in terms of car detail, but 30fps and 1080p on both consoles will leave you in a good spot. The scenery is beautiful.

Background/world size: 9/10

Ubisoft did an excellent job with the cities and scenery that they did produce in the game. You will enjoy the feel of being in different parts of the US. It gives the game a more authentic feel. The large landscape gives you the feel of how big the US is at times, but also how small cities can be.

Car Models: 7/10

The cars are well done, not the best you will see when compared to sim games, but good for an arcade racing type game. Ii would be nice if Ubisoft could improve the models in the future. The car customization is good, performance parts are awarded when you complete a race or "skill" task, which entails things like performing slalom stunts or driving fast down a road while keeping all 4 wheels on the asphalt.

Mission quality: 8/10

There are the speed missions, which is your classic race to the finish line and then there are slalom type missions as well for driver capability, there are plenty of missions that feel like grinding.

User Interface: 5/10

They really need to let you turn the compliments of, they get annoying. Most parts of the user interface work well, but they really need to make more customization and cut down on the mission reminders.

There is a limited edition: The Crew Wild Run.

Ride recklessly across the entire US map. Customize your cars, monster trucks and motorcycles for mayhem on- and off-road. Join instant stunt and skill challenges. Never drive alone! The Crew Season Pass cars sold separately.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Star Wars :The Force Awakens is another wonderful Lego game with the Star Wars element  , so if you are a fan of one or both games then this is the game for you, full of adventure and fun, far beyond the galaxy.

Experience the thrill of high-speed, action-packed flight gameplay like never before, including arena-based battles and dogfights in space. The sound effects are awesome, the aircrafts flying overhead are so realistic and the blaster vibrations are spot on.

The graphics are awesome on the PS4 and the shooting abilities are insane. It makes the fighting feel new and different as we have never had those moments where our Lego guy is popping up from cover to take aim at a bad guy and take them out. The fact that this is being done in a Lego Star Wars game just seals the deal. The final amazing thing about this game is the puzzles.

We are finally back to a Lego game that requires effort from both partners in order to solve the puzzles. Gone are the days of one player solving the puzzle while the other stands around bored and causing problems? Plus, the puzzles are just fun and cool because of their close ties to the Star Wars mythology.

The shooting is amazing, it makes the fighting feel new and different as we have never had those moments where our Lego guy is popping up from cover to take aim at a bad guy and take them out. The fact that this is being done in a Lego Star Wars game just seals the deal!
